The 2D Animation course is designed for those who want to fully learn the fundamentals and basics of animation. The course is rich in practical exercises and ensures comprehensive preparation for junior animators.
The 2D Animation course is aimed at anyone who wants to acquire specific knowledge and skills in a short space of time. The course aims to equip professionals with the necessary skills to independently create simple animations in TV Paint. In particular, after completing the course, graduates will be able to apply the basic principles of animation, plan and execute a complete animated scene and use TV Paint to draw, colorize, assemble and render the final product/animated scene.

TV Paint, Adobe After Effects
Minimum technical requirements:
Any combination of a computer and a drawing tablet for digital drawing or an iPad with a pen or other Android tablet with a stylus.
Meetings for the course will take place in person at Studio Animatory.

About Instructor
Natia Nikolakashvili is an animation director and animator. Natia has extensive experience in animation production, working on both commercial short projects and festival animation films.
For three months, Natia will mentor a 2D animation class for the studio. Along with theoretical topics, it will be a process full of student-oriented assignments and feedback, aimed at teaching students the shortcuts and tricks that any leading animator uses to complete scenes of varying complexity. They will play out, draw, and execute their short, individual assignments, enabling them to showcase their abilities to any potential employer.
